One Hot Conference

Several DEN CT folks attended the Greener Ventures Entrepreneurship Conference last weekend in Hanover and witnessed the DEN MotherShip in action. Over 300 people participated, including a healthy student contingent. The day included terrific keynote speakers, stimulating panel discussions and plenty of networking. Our own Drew Lambert, D'02, was selected by DEN CT last month to enter his inventive microweather station concept into the business plan competition. In the end, an innovative Dartmouth junior came away with the 25K cash prize for her medical device designed to promote tissue stabilization during endoscopic surgeries. I was fortunate to sit next to her at the Friday night dinner and was blown away by her brilliance and down-to-earth character. Were we that smart back then too?
