ATTENTION: Resource Agencies

You are invited to attend a Matchmaker Event on June 21, 2012 in the Gengras Student Union at the University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Ave, West Hartford, CT. This exciting event offers an opportunity for your organization to promote itself and to meet with the small business community. Among the resource groups that attended last year’s matchmaker event were State and municipal agencies, community investment groups, minority associations, technology organizations and numerous professional organizations. Information provided to the business community ranges from information about loans, marketing your organization, outreach to companies seeking your services and knowledge of your organization’s procedures and policies. Last year’s matchmaker event was a great networking opportunity for prime contractors, resource groups and small businesses. Governor Malloy will again open the Conference and various State Agency Heads will update everyone on their new policies and procedures. This event is a premier experience in which resource partners, prime contractors and small businesses come together to share their needs and explain the benefits of their organization. Throughout the day training seminars are held in which various aspects of both state and federal contracting are explained. Frequently, resource partners join in or attend these seminars. As a resource partner there is no fee for your admission and breakfast and lunch are provided without cost.
