Who are we?

Underwater wireless high speed acoustic communication systems.Based on 8 years of R&D, AquaSeNT has successfully applied orthogonal frequency division multiplexing modulation to the challenge of acoustic data transmission in water or other mediums characterized by slow wave propagation, long delays, and high echoes/reflected energy. This solution enables practical multi-node communication networks which vastly extend the range and data bandwidth for non-radio communication applications.

Software-Controllable Underwater Acoustic Modem

The software-controllable underwater acoustic modem (including dry end electronics and software) is an open development platform that allows users to develop their own algorithms for research and development purposes, in the field of underwater acoustic communications and networking. It provides friendly programming enviroment, and the hardware supports multi-channel processing.

High Performance Acoustic Modem

The high-date-rate acoustic modem can provide high-date-rate digital communications in many aquatic applications such as maritime data acquisition and underwater sensor networks. The most advanced OFDM technologies make the modem handle complicated underwater communication channels and achieve high data rates and reliability in both deep and shallow waters. In addition, the modem has friendly user interface and provides strong support for networking.

Underwater Acoustic Network Solution Kits

The underwater acoustic network solution kit provides a comprehensive, reliable, and configurable platform and network protocol stack (including both hardware and software) for R&D in the field of underwater communication and networking. The underwater acoustic network solution kit has two different versions. The basic version has efficient protocols and is capable of conducting communications in underwater multi-hop networks. The advance version further increases the capability and reliability of the underwater networks by introducing advanced algorithms and services. It can handle more challenging environment while providing quality network service.
